Iranian FM Pays Hospital Visit to Syrian Diplomat Injured in Israeli Attack

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian paid a visit to a Syrian diplomat injured during the Israeli regime's recent terrorist missile strike on the consular section of Iranian Embassy in Damascus.

The diplomat was subsequently transferred to Tehran for further medical attention.

Amirabdollahian, accompanied by a medical team overseeing the diplomat's treatment, inquired about the health of the Syrian diplomat.

He received updates on the diplomat's medical status and treatment progress while offering prayers for his speedy recovery.

After recently visiting Syria's capital of Damascus, where he met with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad and both of them paid a visit to the injured diplomat in a hospital, Amirabdollahian made his second visit in a Tehran hospital, demonstrating Iran's support for Syria in the wake of the Israeli assault.
