Sardar Azmoun: Roma Continues on Its Path
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Roma football team forward Sardar Azmoun says his team will continue on its path despite losing to Bologna 3-1.
Azmoun was back on the score sheet Monday night as he scored the team’s only goal of the night in their 3-1 defeat.
In his post-match reaction to DAZN, Azmoun remarked, “Sometimes games go like this. It’s inevitable. Bologna did very well and deserved to win.”
“Obviously we wanted the three points, but sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. We will continue on our path. We will continue to play hard despite this result,” he added.
“The task of those who come off the bench is to help the team as they can, it’s our job. We all have to contribute to the good of the team.
"Without a doubt, they played very well. They created several chances, but we were also a little unlucky. If we had gone ahead, things may have been different. That's how it was today. Football, on this occasion, dealt us this hand. Now, let's move forward together,” Azmoun said.
