TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An official expressed Iran’s readiness to provide technical and vocational training for 1,000 Omanis.

In a meeting with Oman’s minister of labor and social affairs in Tehran, the head of Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization said the country has the capacity to run vocational training courses for 1,000 Omani labor forces.

Mehrdad Azimi noted that Iran is also prepared to dispatch technical and vocational instructors to Oman, Mehr News Agency reported.

More than 4.5 million people have taken part in the public and private centers of Iran to receive technical and vocational training, he added.

Presently, trainees from seven African countries are taking training courses in Iran, Azimi added.

In August 2022, Iran unveiled plans for a new chapter in technical and vocational interaction with Tajikistan and launch joint educational programs with the Central Asian state.
