Iran, Russia Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Cooperatives Sector
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Officials from Iran and Russia emphasized the need for boosting bilateral cooperation in the field of cooperatives.
Chairman of Iran’s Chamber of Cooperatives Bahman Abdollahi in his meeting with the representatives of the All-Russian Co-Operative Society (ARCOS) in Tehran pointed to the good relations between the cooperatives sectors of the two countries and said given the high capacities of the trade-economic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, expansion of relations especially in the cooperatives sector is of paramount importance.
Iran attaches great importance to developing its relations with Russia’s cooperatives sector, he said, expressing hope that the cooperation of the two countries will help further development of the cooperatives sector.
A member of the presiding board and deputy head of the All-Russian Co-Operative Society expressed his satisfaction with his presence in Iran’s Chamber of Cooperatives and stated that the development of cooperation with Iran’s cooperatives sector is very important to Russia.
The two countries have taken giant strides in recent years in various industries and in the field of technological cooperation, he said.
