IRAN Int’l HAMEX 2023 to Kick Off on October 25

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The 23rd Iran International Exhibition of Home Appliances dubbed “Iran HAMEX 2023” will be inaugurated at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds on October 25, the secretary of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers said.

Speaking in a news conference on Sunday, Abbas Hashemi put the number of exhibitors in this exhibition at 309, and added that 12 representatives of foreign companies and 17 foreign parts manufacturing companies from China and Turkey will take part in the expo.

Holding expert-level Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings, organizing students’ tours, launching a Tech Tour event of home appliances, launching a campaign entitled “Every Family with One Iranian-Made Product”, presenting the National Innovation Award and after-sales services will be among the important programs of the exhibition, he added. 

This year's exhibition will be held on three main topics, namely knowledge-based companies, the role of women and national security, he noted.

The role of women in helping the economic turnover of the home appliances industry is crystal clear, Hashemi said, adding that the exhibition will take advantage of the fruitful experiences of elite women in industrial and production units.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that $440 million worth of home appliances was exported from the country last year in 2022.

The exhibition will run through October 28.
